Be Safe Virginia
Wednesday July 30, 2025 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT
This workshop introduces the dynamic public health and safety program called “Be Safe Virginia” designed for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. This program covers essential topics such as bus safety, personal safety in both in-person and online interactions, and the impacts of substance abuse and bullying. Participants will explore a wealth of ready-to-use materials, including Learning Ready Visuals, lesson plans, slideshows, and more. We’ll walk through how to access and navigate these resources on our website and demonstrate effective teaching strategies tailored to young learners.
