2025 School Safety Training Forum

I have recently retired from the Chicago Police Department after 25 years as a Sergeant. I was assigned for over 15 years to the Organized Crime Unit working under cover gangs, narcotics, firearms and shootings. Additionally I worked in the Chicago Public Schools both as a Patrolman and as a Sergeant. Prior to my time with the Chicago Police Department I was a high school teacher, teaching Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, History and English. I am looking forward to hearing about other peoples experiences with school safety and security.
