About me
I have been working with the Fairfax County Public School System since 2018. In 2018, I was appointed as one of (8) Security Planning and Assessment Specialist assigned to the Office of Safety and Security. On April 1, 2024, I promoted and transferred to Emergency Management and Business Continuity Section of OSS as an Emergency Managment Planning Specialist.
I am a certified School Security Officer and SSO Instructor for FCPS. I have been in the Public Safety / Security Profession since 1981. I retired from the Fairfax County Police Department in 2012 after serving for thirty-one and a half years. I retired as a Commander (Captain). Upon retirement from Fairfax County (1981-2012), I was appointed as the Chief Park Ranger for the Prince William County Government (2012-2018). I served the citizens of Prince William County until the Fall of 2018.
I was raised in Fairfax County, a Virginia native by birth.
